Nose is jammy with nice oaks, cherries, and some pleasant herbal quality I can't place- perhaps hibiscus. Medium bodied and lingering tannins provide a better bottle than last year's offering, at least for me.

Fruit forward and smooth. Light on the peppery tones.

Heavier bodied than your average PN, this made a surprisingly competent cocktail wine.

Surprising amount of chocolate. Great for the price.
