Golden yellow and with a proper stink - as a natural wine should be. Spontaneously fermented in large wood and bottled unfiltered and a/o sulfur.
(Over) ripe apple, quince and wet straw emerge after the reductive stink disperses. On the palate quite round, with good acidity. Apples, quince, some papaya and a whiff of mint towards the finish. White tea tannins, too.
Very good friendly though this is definitely not everybody’s cup of tea.

For lovers of natural wine, untouched and unfiltered. You will barely recognize Gruner, as the nose offers dough aromas, bread, yeast, resin from a pine tree, sauerkraut. Medium to medium high acidity.
