What a wine. A certifiable Martin Mullen Fass freak show. That’s what this is. The nose is just krazor. Freakish levels of spice and a bazar like perfume. Like a market in Marrakesh on a hot day. Gorgeous citrus. Like the clarity here is off the charts. So detailed and expressive. Dried apricot. Just divine. Deep, pulsating minerality. Has that feral Mullen edge but make no mistake this is as refined and nimble as Mosel Riesling gets. It carries so much body on the palate but just dances. The nose is a 9.9. As it airs it gets honeyed and even more complex. Special. The density here is insane. The unreal fruit presence and clarity. Mandarin orange, mineola orange, the tanginess. The saltiness. Just so long. A brilliant wine and a superstar. Maybe even a benchmark.
