Almost 11 years old and drinking so well. Slatey, mineral and peach pit on the palate. 13’s in the zone!

Always a killer wine. Such citrus! Minerals abound. Grapefruit and blood orange aromas. Really lively and expressive. Impressive. Palate is concentrated and elegant with good substance while also being light and ethereal. Very juicy and amazing finish. Always one of the best Riesling values in the Mosel.

What a nose! Huge peach and melon. Gorgeous clarity and citrus notes. Citrus pith and flesh. Really airy and expansive. Such a great nose on this wine. One of the best all time values. Amazing penetrating minerality. So nuanced and detailed. Palate is just wonderful. Expressive, expansive and has wonderful sap and purity. Amazingly delicate and so much length on the finish. Pure as the sky is blue. This finish is much longer than it should be. Just brilliant. Terrific texture and an icing on the cake like effect. Impeccable balance and freshness. Ready to go because who can resist this wine? Awesome tangy and fleshy citrus with insane freshness on the really long finish. What a wine. Likely will be 9.3 with air.

Nose has confectioners sugar over green apple slice, tangerine slice, light phenolic notes, lemon zest and pulverized chalk.

Palate has bright peach peel, tangerine, tangelo, under-ripe apricot, tart mineral flavors with a long finish coating the palate fully. Fruity fruit fruit!

Decanted 6H, then double decanted and slow oxidation overnight, this bottle has been open 23H at the time of notes.

This young bottle still needs time, next check-in suggested 2026+.

My first dive into 2018 Martin Müllen’s Rieslings. What a nose. Hugely expressive. Amazing slate, citrus, huge citrus, very piquant citrus. The slate permeates all over as well. Lovely herbs. Almost a hint of rubber as well. Palate is ample and so clean with an icing on the cake texture and dazzling purity and freshness. So clean but also lean and incisive. Huge citrus cleansing on the back of the palate and all Over the finish. Surely this will open and get even more complex but wow is this expansive, lean and ample all at the same time right at open. Lovely concentration and freshness, along with admirable purity.

Decanted ~1hr.
Nose has green apple peel, white peach, under-ripe tangerine juice and wet, decaying granite.
Palate is quite citrus-y, peach notes coming in strong mid-finish, light lingering sweetness and wet mineral dust on the tail end.

Decent wine, not the typical Müllen style, more like a Riesling trying to be a Burgundy, and doing a fairly positive effort in getting there. Future bottles 2022+ minimum.

Continuing to evolve with extended air, getting quite nice!

Always so good what a value. What a nose. So pure and mineral with white peach, apricot, slate and a hint of vulcanized rubber. But in a good way. Ripe and so so mineral with a nice acid switch on the mineral tinged finish. So many waves of citrus and mineral. Long and piquant finish. Terrific value.

Such a great value at Müllen. Mineral, peach and apricot. Creamy even. But starkly mineral as well. Shows what 15 is about. Dense and elegant and glides along the palate. Juicy and so mineral. Perfect to cut the heat.

Citrus and green apple needs time to come together. Almost Chablis like very mineral driven. Apricot? Not as perfumed as other Rieslings.

The gang's back together. Best combo of sour lemon candy, linoleum cleaner, and tie dye rubber ball.
