Nose of honey, vanilla extract, marmalade, slate, tangelo and so much more. Expressive and gorgeous. Palate is rich and layered with terrific inner mouth aromatics, citrus sweetness and mouthwatering acidity that gets the job done but is not extraordinarily high. Long finish coats the mouth. Masterful. As this airs it gets juicy and gains cut and precision.

Insane nose. Mullen is the god level sweet wine maker now in the Mosel. Creamsicle, Slate, apricot, lime blossom, massive pure pulverized slate dust, so perfumed. With air there is canned fruit juice, blackcurrants and more. The palate is deep, rich, sweet and wonderfully fresh. Incredible zippy minerals and a creamy, round texture. Juicy, balanced and pure. Packed with peach, apricot, pink grapefruit, confectionary sugar and fresh honey. Invigorating but also harmonious. What poise, balance, depth and purity. A stunner. Has 30 years to go.
