Martín Códax
Rías Baixas Albariño
The Martín Códax Winery was founded in 1986 by a group of winegrowers in Cambados, the capital of the Salnés Valle. All grapes are sourced from their own vineyards. Straw yellow color with aromas of white flesh fruit and floral scents. On the palate ripe apple, peach with lemon zest, some light spice with vivid acidity. The finish displays the crisp mineral on a lingering ending. Crisp and fresh. Very nice value! Tasting Sample.

Try instead of pairing with a sauvignon blanc. I’ve only had a few of this variety but I really like how it pairs with food when you can’t decide between a Chardonnay or a Sauvignon Blanc.
