2019. I really enjoyed the two bottles of this vintage I had in 2020, and glad I had one more in the cellar to pull out for National Pizza Day 🍕!!!
I probably won’t age the 2021 & 2022 bottles I have this long as the “pop” of juicy red fruits is a little muted.

Best Martha to date. Her wines get interesting at this level, beyond Post Flirtation. Here she channels Sicily and projects Cali through two grapes she adores - Nero D’Avola and Zin.Dark brew of juicy fruits and toasted spice. Plums, Driscoll’s blackberries, ripe raspberries. Cinnamon and cardamom.

Oct 19th, 20202019. Loved this wine so much a few months ago. When I saw an article on the winemaker in the Oct Food&Wine, it reminded me that I needed to buy another bottle! I remember decanting the first bottle for a little while, but we didn’t have time tonight. By the end of dinner, it was drinking fantastic like the decanted bottle.
