I would classify this as a very dark rosé. Needs to be chilled. Clean winemaking. Sappy juice box. Really needs the right food. 12.5%. Paired well with cold Greek mezze.

2019. I really enjoyed the two bottles of this vintage I had in 2020, and glad I had one more in the cellar to pull out for National Pizza Day 🍕!!!
I probably won’t age the 2021 & 2022 bottles I have this long as the “pop” of juicy red fruits is a little muted.

Pretty unusual blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Nero d’Avola from different vineyards in Mendocino County. Fermented separately and then aged in barrel for 6 months. Beautiful, complex nose with notes of red and dark fruit. Cherry cola, cinnamon and some smoky notes. Fresh, medium-bodied. Tart red fruit, some blood orange. Great acidity. Fun, very enjoyable

40%petite Syrah, 37% zinfandel, 23% nero d’avola. Bright at the outset with undercurrent of dark fruit, but also raspberries, plums, and currants. The acidity builds with green apple picking up the finish.
