2017 vintage. A bit more grip currently than the 2015 vintage. Still, tremendous QPR/holler for the dollar. The nice price. 1.5.24.

2015 vintage. Tasted just over a year ago (3.2.22) and same notes definitively applying. Moving the “roasted nuts” comment into a “r/toasted marcona almonds” updated comment instead. 3.7.23.

2015 vintage. Whatta lotta punch from the tannins still! Plenty developing underneath those big tannins however. The usual cedar, cherry and plum suspects along with allspice, roasted nuts and Chambord. The nice price for the cellar.

Slightly more aggressive Vanilla/coconut oak than the Pecina 2014, but full concentration and a great balance between the acids and the fruit.

2011 vintage. Great now. Fresh red fruits. Medium body and acid. Some licorice. Great food wine.

Really nice raspberry syrup smell, loads of acid and oak that sort of dries and stays woody, minus a few points on that, the smell is on point, the color is legit rioja red, thick and dark, raspberry but leather tobacco and all those over visceral notes packed into one
