Pròximo Rioja Tempranillo Blend

Found another bottle (about a year after I tasted the first). Deep Ruby with dark fruit aromas and spice notes. On the palate ripe fruit fLavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum. Fine grain tannins, more approachable, lively acidity, medium finish ending with pepper spice. Good value.

Very good value. A very easy red.

Too much of a bite and slightly peppery.

I recall the 2010 was easier to drink.
$8 bargain I my might add.

For a 2009 vintage, it isn't amazing

Deep red color with dark fruit and spice aromas. Flavors of dark black fruits, black cherry, blackberry and ripe plum. The finish has plenty of acidity and pepper spices. Fine grain tannins that I would suggest a decant before enjoying. Finishes about medium in length. Good value.

A easy to drink light Tempranillo, ruby red, full of red fruits, some black fruits, soft tannins, nice acidity, medium body, a short finish. Nothing exciting, still a nice quaffer. My score 82, drink to 2017

Notes of red fruits. Medium bodied with medium acidity. Short term. A quality quaffer.

Sadly a bit corked but clearly a great value. Bright red currant fruit.
