Raisin notes and compote dark fruit on the nose hint at the beast within. Palate is full bodied, with sweet dark cherry, oak vanilla and a very hot end. The big sweet fruit shrouds everything - you would never pick this as rioja. Baked, imbalanced, and picked too late. Insanely expensive for the quality.

Velvety, raisin bits, hints of sherry. Dry...just like the unfortunate pork shoulder it was paired with.
