Deep ruby red with aromas of red and black fruit with earthy cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with citrus, cacao and cedar. Rustic tight tannins, medium finish ending with herb fruit and earthy oak. Just Ok! Past it’s prime. Pass on this one!

Nose: Leather, tobacco, some spices. Blackberry and cherry come in as well.
Bright acid and strong tannins make up the structure. A medium bodied wine. Flavor has cherries up front. Tobacco comes in and brings up most of the finish.
A nice rioja. I think I'd prefer a little more intensity of the flavors out of it, however. I'd probably try another rather than buy again, but certainly don't mind drinking it.
