Ripe, Kubicy, sweet cherry with the oak influence quite pronounced but not overpowering. This does have nice structure, balance and elegance. Well balanced, juicy acidity though the tannins seem dry. A solid Rioja though - mid way between old school and modernity.

Aromas of jammy red fruit and oak spice drive the nose. Jaminess tends toward more dried characteristics on the palate - dried cherries and worn leather. Generous supple tannins. Can't wait to have with steak tonight - will undoubtedly be better alongside food.
