I have been a fan of Markham cab and merlot for many years, but I fully expected this 91 to be way over the hill. To my surprise, this was rich and elegant. There are still some tannins left that worked well w prime rib. I just wish I had more

Feb 26th, 2018Drinking the 1991, yes 91, in Dec 2017. Friend of friend cellared it. (Fox-Nolan) Price tag was still on bottle.....$14.95
26 years later a bit older nose. Decanted and enjoyed it with steak dinner. Nice and smooth. Some deeper flavors may have moved on but may be the last bottle of it. Or it should be. Cheers. And thanks to those who cellared this for so long.
