Markham Vineyards
Napa Valley Merlot

Ruby red. Aromas of bing cherry, prune, vanilla and cocoa powder. As it opens up, the nose gets less sticky and more alluring with black table pepper entering the scene. Medium to full bodied and low in acidity with sweet tannins. Again, it's candied at first but becomes wonderfully expressive. There's flavors of cassis, cherries, dark coffee and it finishes with a show of muscle from the tannins and a refreshing mintiness. LET IT BREATH!

I fine this wine to be delicious. The 2016 year one. It has flavor from the time it touches your lips to the finishing swallow

Delicious, full bodied merlot. Fantastic with a medium rare filet.
