Uproar Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

A little more beauty & fine elegance over the 2020.

Nose shows nice ripe, dark core fruits with fresh dark floral and spice.

The palate shows; lush mouthfeel with thick, ripe M+ tannins, blackberries, black raspberries, black raspberries, dark cherries, plum, creamy raspberries & purple fruits, fresh & dry tobacco, used raw leather, nice mid level baking spices, crushed, dry limestone, dry top soil, mix of some fresh & dry herbs, excellent level of dark spice-not overdone, anise, caramel, milk & dark chocolate, dark & red flowers framed in liquid violets, excellent round acidity with a velvety, lush, elegant finish that is very well balanced, structured that lasts 90 seconds.

Haven’t had a ton of 2020’s due to the vintage issues, but this is pretty good.

Dark core of black currants, blackberries, black plum, creamy black raspberries, purple fruit hues, caramel, coffee, dark cocoa bar, wet top soil & clay, combination of fresh & dry, tobacco, some leather, light led pencil shavings, fresh to withering dark, red and purple flowers, nice round acidity and well knitted, structured, balanced with a lush elegant finish that lasts a minute.

Very plush, lush, ruby and voluptuous. Surprisingly soft and elegant with some nice initial integration. Soft supple, dusty tannins. Ripe; Blackberries, black plum, array of purple fruits, dark cherries, coca powder, nice spice, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, sandalwood to light cedar chips, dark chocolate cake, mixed dark berry cola. Candied; purple, dark read florals framed violets/lavender. Beautiful acidity with a plush long, well structured & balanced fruit & earth finish that lasts two minutes. Easy to drink now but I’d wait another 5 years before opening. Patience will reward another point or two. This 19 over-delivers it’s price point. Excellent value in Napa Cabernet.

A delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Nice and elegant.

Dry and fruity on the palate.

Showing black fruits with oak, vanilla, leather, spices, tobacco, chocolates, coffee, mocha, earth and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Long finish with fine grained grained tannins and tangy cherries.

Nicely balanced and fruit-forward. Rich and extracted.

Good right out of the bottle and better after some airtime.

Still young and needs a few years to mature, but already drinkable and delicious. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years and see how it evolved.

A good sipping wine. Good by itself or with food.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in (70% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months.

Super approachable! Balanced and smooth.

Quaffable, not something that I would seek out.

2nd go round with this wine. Nice nose, delivering this pungent Cab qualities. Matched with filet mignon. Dark cherry, plum, chocolate bar and moderate tannins held their own with the elegant cut of beef.

Deep ruby red in appearance. Classic 2011 and elegant nose with layers of mint, jasmine, herbal, berries and cedar. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Lush palate of eucalyptus, mint, blueberries, and dark spices. Long finish. Drink till 2023.

Had for a birthday party. Got better as it sat. Fruit forward. Tight finish.

Open it and wait a day, or decant. Super green but had opened up the following day.
