Local cheesemonger (#scardello) paired this wine for their virtual Friday cheese tasting. Presents with dark ripe fruit along with herbal notes. The Syrah brings along hint of pepper. There is also Mourvèdre and Granache. The finish has an earthen quality. Not typically my style, but enjoyed trying this one.
