Very dry. Smells of sweet berry but taste is light and very drinkable. A slight metallic taste at first that quickly disappears.

Dec 27th, 2017This wine is very special to me. Visited the Gagliasso family many times and love their wine and hospitality. I got this bottle at the winery and have had it in my basement until now. Christmas Eve seemed like the right time to have it. Anyway, drinking very nicely.

Vintage 2001, color rubin red with brown shade. High alcohol with medium tannins. A good and strong barolo to drink with a rear steak.
