Cherry cola, nutmeg, and dark berries. This is cool climate, new world Syrah. It’s clean, shows evidence of classy French oak aging, fruit forward and balance. Well done!

Marimar don miguel vineyard Russian river valley estate grown Syrah. 2015 vintage. Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, dark fruits, blueberry, espresso beans, earth. On the palate, blueberry, plum, spice, vanilla and tobacco. Medium plus tannins, full body, rich mouth feel, tannins still slightly overpowering the otherwise very nice finish matching the flavors described above.
