Christo McDowell Valley Syrah Blend

The 2021 Christo is a brooding wine. Black cherry, plum, gravel, tobacco, menthol, licorice and dried herbs add to an impression of gravitas. Brawny tannins wrap it all together. This full-bodied red is very much intended for the dinner table. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2024)

Great value for $19. Super, deep, teeth-staining red.

Scratching my head over the RP95…. But it’s definitely a good Syrah. Maybe will evolve big time with short term aging? Meanwhile, for $20 a winner.

Dry and earthy GSM. Excellent for the price. Great midweek wine :-)🍷

Very smooth, great with steak

Deep purple color. Aromas of boysenberry, olives and tar. Syrah at its best! Dark fruit and a dark chocolate finish.

Blend: 64% Syrah, 23% Grenache, 7% Petite Sirah, and 6% Viognier

Dominant Syrah blend with some Grenache. Silky tannin, very mild peppers with underlying red juicy fruit. Very enjoyable.
