Marie-André
Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay
Lemon, apple, almond skin, white blossom aromas. Secondary aromas of yeast and crackers. Flavors are bright and juicy with apple skin, sourdough, and chalk on the palate. Medium body and the finish lingers.

Sep 22nd, 2017Decent chardonnay, great price point at $10. Not as buttery as the California ones that I have had.

Feb 14th, 2017Great with food. Creamy chard mouthfeel without top much cloying oak and nice acidity. Hazelnuts on nose, mineral and citrus flavors evoke a sauv but with the chard body.

Aug 5th, 2016This one really changes from first to second to third sip. At first a serious bitterness develops, then that mellows a bit with the second sip, and with the third sip it's still there but in a really delicate, nuanced way. It turns out that this wine is very balanced and interesting. It's a little dank and goes great with some soft, triple cream, French cheese. You can get a bottle from Costco for less than $10, which is a real deal if you ask me.
