Wow! This could replace Charles Hiedsieck as my favorite NV bubble under $50.
Blackberry, ripe apple, lime citrus, grapefruit, and yeast. Vigorous and full of energy yet so refined and elegant. Drier than Brut, almost feels like zero dosage, but there is enough creaminess on the palate to provide a delicate balance. Long mineral driven saline finish.
100% grand cru Pinot Noir, 6 years on lees. Can’t think of a better value than this! — 7 days ago
Bright, full-bodied, and (a bit too) acidic. Oaky with a lot of lemon curd, pineapple, and a hint of pear. Other tropical fruits on the nose. — 14 days ago
Good minerality, not fruity, very enjoyable, wished the bottle would never end. Had it with grilled salmon, very nice together. — 15 hours ago
Mm. Sort of the slate Earth taste people talk about but I've never really experienced. But it's good. I like it a rather lot. — 15 days ago
The nose on this is gorgeous. There’s a lightness of bread, honeysuckle, and rain. Then I also get a red wine like smell of cherries and currants. Palate is impressive and leans more toward oak and red wine. Forest for sure, really interesting fruit with apple, hint of tropical fruit, some cantaloupe, sourdough toast, and cherries jubilee. I’m not sure I’m doing it justice in describing. It just keeps evolving. Seems to punch well over its weight class. Hope I can secure another bottle or two. Love it. Smooth. Perfect cab. Got it as part of our boundary membership and drank the whole bottle while watching great British bake off. Was it the wine or the baking that made me happy. No one will know. — 7 days ago
