Deep ruby red in appearance. Dark red berries on the nose with aniseed, volcanic soil and bitter chocolate. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Bright and red on the palate with notes of raspberries, herbed spices, and espresso. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2025.

In Cuidad de Mexico and when in country I always enjoy trying local wines. This did not disappoint. Very fruit forward with a mix of dark berries, strawberry and cherry all in the initial taste. Tannins seem medium to even slightly below for such a young wine. Finish is short but this has the appeal of being a very enjoyable drinking wine.
