I miss the wines and the Man! Benoit is as interesting and unique as his wines. This has been around since 2013 and, as its name suggest, a chalky delight of Ambonnay fruit. One of my favorite places in Champagne!

This is delightful wine to just sip and enjoy. Hints of barrel spice to lift the strawberry and red cherry fruit fruit notes then a beam of chalk and warm stones. Vibrant but rich palate with red fruit mingled with lemon curd notes. Long mineral based finish that gets more focused with aeration.
