Pop and pour yesterday. Disg 09/2016. This btl is absolutely stunning. On the nose: dense citrus and cranberry, soft vanilla, a hint of nuttiness. On the palate: fantastic acidity, hazelnut, lemon, cranberry, melon, vanilla, amazing density and a long juicy finish. The previous btls were just young I guess. In a great place now.

Had high expectations considering the $70 price tag, but this was just not my style of Champagne. Drank very mature with an almost sherry-like profile and bubbles which quickly dissipated. Pastry dough, ginger, honey roasted pecans, hints of dried fruit.
