Lovely color. Red like under ripe black cherries. Smells stem-y with a dose of barnyard. There is a bite here. Elderberry and under-ripe berries. Very tart. Really get the Bret and barnyard in the flavors. This is a more austere and ‘green’ style of wine. I liked it, but others I tried it with did not at all.
