This is a Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s ruby red. Not as dark as it could be. Pretty in the glass though. Classic color. Smells a tiny bit musky. Incense and spiced cider. Flavors are fleshy and simple. Some exotic spices I can’t quite figure out. Some fruit, but more complex. Earthy. Strange. Fresh. It’s a good example of the diverse styles of Cab here in CA.
