A beautifully balanced wine with black currant, black cherry, with hints of violet, vanilla and leather. There is a beautiful hint of fennel and eucalyptus on the long finish. Most impressive is the finesse of this wine - great flavor without being overly extracted. Lovely

Feb 28th, 2019A lovely example of Tuscan Cabernet, with ripe flavors and aromas of black currant, black cherry, blackberry, violet, tar, crushed rock, and plum. 13.5%abv so a welcome alternative to overly extracted, high alcohol fruit bombs. Great balance of fruit, alcohol, crisp acidity and velvet tannins. Lovely now but I expect even better in a couple of years with more tertiary development.
