Lucente La Vite Toscana SuperTuscan Blend

Very drinkable, classic Tuscan. Good idea to let this one breathe before imbibing. Nice notes of cherry and a little spice.

Needs time. Super ripe and sweet black fruit in the front and then a swift and immediate transfer into long, lingering tannins.

This wine reminds me of why I like most Supertuscans with a little age. Dense and smooth with black fruits and complexity of aromas and palate. Great to be in Rome where these aged beauties are relatively easy to find.

Sangiovese and merlot blend, stylish plush plum aromas w cherry nuances. Supple and silky palate w hints of savory leather and notes of cedar spice.

Cost effective alternative to the big ones

Hello Tuscany. Wow. Very nice. Smoky cherry. Nice tannin. Beautiful.

Not picking up much on the nose. High acidity. Medium low tannins. Bit overpowering. Not a fan of this wine.

Great wine for NYE dinner... Paired perfectly with the beef tenderloin! Big and bad. Not too fruit forward.
