Antinori Wine Dinner. A unique dessert pairing. Ricotta flan w/gorgonzola fondue, and...a Merlot? This worked surprisingly well...more like a cheese and Bordeaux mashup. This vintage was more problematic and the wine was a bit harsher than ‘15 or ‘16.

Sep 8th, 2020Full body Merlot from the super Tuscan region made by Antinori. Red fruit forward (black cherry, plum) with deep red in colour with silky tannin. Great length on the palate; can notice the style/hints of the big brother Tig. Beautiful.
