Wine Spectator just named Bolgheri as the hottest wine region in Italy so I figured I try a bottle. While the wine is good, when they say “the hottest” they must be talking about the weather.

What a rich Italian Merlot. Really impressed with this wine. Might need to go back to Italy to get more.
