Castello della Sala Cervaro della Sala Umbria Chardonnay Grechetto

This is really well balanced and not over oaked like all the Cali chards on offer here in Tampa. Good stuff.

Rich delish slightly tropical. One of my favorites always and forever.

Burg style chard, buttery with yellow peach and eucalyptus.

Solid Chardonnay that was very enjoyable with dinner tonight. From what I could understand from the label, this is a Chardonnay heavy wine with Grechetto as the secondary grape variety. this one poured a little darker amber color than I was expecting. Nose was apricot, peach, and minerals. Entry of this wine was quite soft. Buttered popcorn with definitely more of a sweet citrus... Pineapple and ripe pear. Gains more acidity towards the middle and finish. Finishes with more of to stone-ground fruits and dried herbs. I think this wine is drinking really well right now. I don't really think this is going to improve any more in the bottle, so drink up!

Great white. Can stand beside some of the great whites. Good price.

Excellent chard blend from Umbria. A surprisingly complex and enjoyable wine.

Excellent as always. Nice millesimes 2011. Enjoyed just in front of the Pantheon.
