Marchese di Borgosole
Appassimento Puglia Negroamaro
Dark ruby. Shy inviting nose and full-bodied palate of black cranberry and blackberry with a bit of patent leather mid palate to moderate finish. Medium minus acidity and medium minus tannins (that do show a bit more after some time) make this more a cigar or sipping wine than one built for meals. I spicy beef dish might work well, though. Drink now.

Sep 21st, 2022A big bold wine. Dark cherry, plum, seems like the tannins came out more as it opened up. Paired great with marinara baked chicken over spaghetti squash.
