A touch of wood frames this, but there is a beautiful balance of fruit to mineral here. 2010 dictates the energy. I kind of forget about this wine and when I drink it next sort of kick myself for neglecting it. Definite re-buy.
And self-rooted to boot!

Dry herbs and ripe strawberry on the nose. Decanted a couple hours. The color was starting to deteriorate but the flavors and nose are holding strong.

Initial impression. Solid fruit. Black and red. Lovely silky texture and medium body on the palate. Will take to another year or so quite well.

Like, great nose. Nice and dry, but seemed a little watery on the finish. Will go great with my brick oven pizza, I think.
