Popped and poured. In the glass, a pale straw color. The nose was incredibly fresh, like a cool breeze on a Spring day. Notes of pomelo, kiwi fruit, and wet stone. On the palate, orange bitters, kumquat, lemons...seemingly all of the citrus fruits. Great acid contributes to a long, clean finish. I found this to be a more expressive showing than the last bottle, nearly 18 months ago.

Nov 30th, 2020Drank alongside the “Les Porcheronnes”. Brought from my cellar. This was more about pears and green apples than the stone fruits of Porcheronnes. Lovely minerals and acidity. A touch rounder than the aforementioned. Killer with the fare of steelhead trout and potatoes.

Nov 4th, 2015Benchmark producer of Pouilly-Fume for me. The 2010 was a bit more polished, and the 2011 a bit more feral. I love both sides of SB.
