Sweet, briary raspberry fruit with black pepper and smoky cedar notes. Called it Zinfandel blind.

Great wine. The only disadvantage is a touch of sugar in the finish. Big and heavy body. Alcohol well integrated. Smooth. Great for food

Black fruit, chocolate, a little minerality. Good for a cheapie.

Big bold wine sweet finish. Good with food

Dry. Flavors of baked blackberry, vanilla, cocoa, oak spice, hint of licorice. Rich, smooth tannins. Great acidity.

Pretty berry forward and a decent dryness for a Malbec. Fruity and bold, with a little tang.

Shows the limits of the grape. Brambly and heavy, but completely one-dimensional.
