Soft, round and very berry fruity.
Black berries, blue berries, a bit of lavender & violets, some nice roast aromas.
Very inviting.
On the palate this is nicely poised, fruity yet with some savoury depth. Nice quality of tannins - grippy yet juicy, good acidity and weight.
Great for drinking solo or with a light meal.

Feb 10th, 2024Interesting. First time having the lagrein varietal. Overall, kinda of jammy but maintains its balance. Stone fruit esp ripe cherries. Was still interesting on the third day. Try again.

Mar 15th, 2020Very modern & sleek with cool, blue fruit and whiff of menthol, adding freshness. Plush, medium tannins, good acidity. A nice modern sipping wine.

Feb 14th, 2019A very cool blue fruit expression here with the inky lagrein blended with cab and merlot. I imagine the Merlot and Cab for flesh and body and touch of modernity. I was hoping for this to taste more rustic. Quite slick. Medium bodied. M+ finish. M+ acid. M tannins
