ManDili
Mtsvane
Intriguing. Fresh apricots and pineapple on the nose with vanilla bean, carried on undertones of fruitcake. Bright and light on entry, with fresh apricots, guava, and fresh cut citrus, finishing in savory notes of pink rock salt, rosehip tea, and white pepper. This is great and gets me giddy about Georgian wines.

May 2nd, 2017Struggles with the same issues a lot of the imported Georgian wines do; i personally love this STYLE (resin, savory herbs, tart pineapple...'gold'), but the emphasis on qvevri rather than the fruit, the terroir, the winery, make a lot of the Georgian wines here a bit homogenous. Oh, @Delectable Wine this is mandili Winery, grape is mtsvane, from kakheti, Georgia, aged in qvevri (amphora)
