Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend

Absolutely delicious and in a perfect place to drink, 10 years old. Immediate notes of bacon grease, iron, sanguine, blackberry, and bramble. The acidity provides a medium mouthfeel, nothing too intense, but compliments the dark and red fruit within. Good amounts of pepper too. Definitely a masculine wine.

Wait. Lots of pepper and heat, calmed by the presence of some blue fruit but it was overwhelmed by alcohol and structure and needs time. It should integrate and impress more in the future. The real star here was the nose which really impressed. Unfortunate I didn’t wait longer to taste this, as it could be really really good.

Syrah/Shiraz blend. Fruity, no tannins, mineraly. Needs more time...

Nice wine - truly need at least 5 more years for this to peak at $20 I'd buy and hold

Note de noix au nez. Assez épicé et très fondu. Pas trop de tanins.

Great wine, complex, a great all rounder and well matched with many dishes

Ripe berries punch me in the face. Quiet finish but nice earthy nose and some light spice. Opened big but no tannins to give it structure.

Just didn't achieve like it could have.
