100% Syrah, medium Ruby with aromas of sweet red fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and raspberry with some spice. Lively acidity with medium tannins, good length ending with a fruit character. Drink now.

Amazing with beef short ribs (what isn’t?). I don’t know northern Rhone too well but seemed lighter bodied than I expected. Good balance, blackberries, black pepper. Medium tannins

Not great. Not sure if bottle was off. Cork was dry and broke coming out. So many better options in syrahs

I’m hoping this wine had cork taint. If it did it wasn’t strong. However the flavors were vile.

Pepper and blackberry nose plus a bit of garrigue. Rather typical and to the point. The palate is very balanced with strong acid and a nice matter rolling along the palate with a bit of a gamey, meaty touch in the end with a saline note. I like the thickness and the layers of the palate : bright blackberry, some tannins before the end, some meat juice too. The finish lingers a bit with the meaty and salty notes fading quicker and leaving the stage to a bright blackberry. You cannot dislike this!
