En Rosey Rully Chardonnay

Ripe fruit, good acid, round body. Very appealing!

2018 in 2022. Unsure of aging potential but otherwise very good. Dried flowers, slight forest and mushrooms. Balanced acidity and okay minerality.

Nice with the halibut with tomatillo puree. Citrus and mineral notes, with a very low key finish.

Average

Nutty on the top of mouth, but slightly lemony. V unpopular with the women of the family.

Excellent drier Chardonnay, on the way towards a Sauvignon Blanc. Went really well with a tomato, garlic & pastis-flavoured prawn dish (thanks Mr Ottolenghi!),

Lovely wine.
