There’s something very relaxing about an easy drinking French red wine. We recently cracked this Maison Castel 2016 Merlot #sample from 🇫🇷’s southern Languedoc Region and the contents vanished in a blink of an eye 👁.

In the glass it’s a deep velvet red colour. Red fruits and savoury notes with a sprinkling of spice come through on the nose. While in the mouth it has a nice oomph of juicy plummy flavour and smooth tannins.

I’ve teamed up with Kollaras to try some of the French range they distribute here in Aussie to help celebrate #BastilleDay this Saturday 14th of July.
