To help celebrate I’ve teamed up with Australian wine distributor Kollaras to try some of their French wines. This #sample of the Maison Castel 2016 Côtes du Rhône made from Grenache and Syrah grapes went down a treat 👌

Mr Spittoon couldn’t get enough of it, so he was in charge of the tasting note:

👀 Deep red
👃🏻 Dry aged meats, black pepper spice & strawberries
👅 Very smooth and rounded, subtle vanilla, acidity at the finish
