Maison Bonheur
Beaujolais Gamay
Interesting nose. Almost leaning to the darker berry range (boysenberry?) as well as sweet tart candy, cranberry, stemmy woodiness, and a bit of black pepper.
Juicy black cherries up front with some medium sour cherry acidity and light tannins that give a touch of astringency. Hint of spice on the finish as well as alcohol warmth.
Simple and straightforward but tasty nonetheless.
