Les Gréchons Ladoix 1er Cru Chardonnay

Fleshy, bright, seductive. Drinks like a Chassagne.

Ample wood, had some pleasant mineral qualities, delish!

Oak, cider, rich and rounded. quite honey and fruity. then feel acidity and minerals. Citrus, pear, grapefruits. 2nd glass, comfortable herb. Elegant. Then, liquor. like. 2015 @6600, Umem JH, 231007-231009

Drink now. Pretty ripe. Unusual for a White Burgundy.

Last bottle. Big, rich Chardonnay. Hints of pineapple and coconut. Atypical to say the least. It is tasty, but you wouldn’t pick it as white Burgundy. Drink up.

Big for a Burgundian Chardonnay. A fair amount of oak. I had this last November and thought it showed much better.

This is excellent. Needs time, but all the right stuff is there.

Beautiful and focused Ladoix with a creamy, lightly toasted finish. Some Corton Charlemagne added in this vintage 2013, giving it some extra oomph.
