Color of dark purple, almost inky. Nose of oak, vanilla, coke cola, and sweet strawberry or cherry. Taste follows the nose with addition of right amount of tannins, sweet, a bit zesty and bitter rind to balance it. Some more oak and vanilla flavors. Aftertaste is medium long and clean with more sweet ripe grapes. Too sweet for me but a crowd pleaser.

Praying to the God's that it returns next year with an equally delicious vintage. Fairly balanced leaning towards medium fruits and minimal tannins and no harsh bites of alcohol.
