Chablis Chardonnay

A basic, but very good French Chablis, unoaked Chardonnay, nose was shy at first but then opened up with lemon meringue pie, the palate was clean but subtly expressive with flavours including lemon, pear and hint of minerality. Paired it with oven roasted halibut in a chervil and parsley white wine sauce with dill baby potatoes and roasted radishes.
