Maison Albert Bichot
Puligny-Montrachet Chardonnay
Nose has toasted-shredded coconut, dried apricot, ripe mango, ripe pineapple, under-ripe peach and lemon zest.
Palate has creamy pineapple, dried lemon, yellow plum flesh, candle wax and candied lemon. A decent length to the finish, but admittedly a young wine. Drink 2026-2028.
Decanted 6H, then double-decant for service tonight. (A Costco purchase, if you can believe!)

Not bad. For the appellation and price, I’d expect more.

Dec 5th, 2018Not my pic, not bad, a lot of acidity and just a little oak.

May 7th, 2020A decent Montrachet. Matched well with salads and seafood that night. I would recommend this as a decent value Montrachet.
