Nice brick/dark purple color. Fairly mellow nose. Flavor is classic Sierra mountain foothills Zin. Has jammy ripe berry flavors with some licorice and berry stuff. Some funky stuff too. Not exactly dominate zinful notes, but just great red none the less.

Apr 21st, 20192012 opened march 2018. Cassis and strawberries on the nose. Hint of berries on the front of the palate, and a light tannic structure make this wine very drinkable -- but it's not in the least bit challenging.

Aug 19th, 2017I found this bottle way in the back at the bottom of my wine cellar. Really wasn't expecting much out of it but whoa!! It was from a shipment I received from California Wine Club. Haven't been a member for over a year now! It was exquisite! Absolutely inoffensive. Super easy to drink for a Zinfandel. Had shrimp soup with it. Phenomenal. Will look for it in the future! Salud!!
