The nose is wet and not as dry as a California wine. Color is a vibrant and light red, very fruity smell reminding me of strawberries or raspberries freshly picked with a light note of French oak afterwards. The taste is as light as the color mostly consisting of fruits and a classic Pinot noir. So far, so good.

Had at Stark's Steakhouse in Santa Rosa
Peppery and somewhat fruit forward
Extracted style, not restrained
Would allow it to play - if needed - with the killer filet at the place
Retails for $29 and was $35 at restaurant

Sep 20th, 2014What can I say, it is to be expected a GREAT PN from RRV...Cherry - menthol and a luscious finish and feel. I have always been a fan of this vineyard years back when it first hit the shelves in LCBO. Glad to see that it has maintained its style & quality.
